I have finally been promoted to "Overrun With Chickens" I've been trying to get there for so long!!

OMG! Now that you said that I looked up at my own title and I got promoted too!

I agree. I didn't say he was neglecting the birds, nor do I think that. I just don't agree with how he is raising his birds.

Thinking back on it, their poor health is probably a result of a continuously advanced mite infestation. I've cleaned out the chicken house several times and he never has me put anything down except fresh shavings. Suppose I could leave a note or something mentioning that he might want to look into a permethrin spray or dust.

Spray is easier, IMO, to treat the cracks of the coop with.

Maybe suggest a flock raiser that he could just give to everyone?

I can do that, I don't think that would be a problem to suggest that. Might help since he currently has a brooding turkey hen that he wants to hatch out poults.

I'll make a list on Friday when I work again. I'll just mention that he should consider buying flockraiser for the poultry and Permethrin spray for the chickens because they have really bad mites.
