I'm trying!!! I got rid of one...
We stopped filling the deer feeder because the bears kept getting the corn... so now the coons are coming up to the coops. They haven't gotten to the chicken but the little *!@$%$#@ are eating my quail!!

You know they make great barbeque... the best "pulled pork" I ever had was a coon my buddy Hillbilly Joe cooked up in a Crock-Pot.

We might or might not have named an egg in our first incubation "skidmark" (which I'm not sure has a more or less mature sense of humor than those other great names!)

Haha my husband would be all about it.
He wants the furs.
We don't like to kill anything useless we eat it or for protection. And even wi th the protection we don't like to be wasteful.
