Okay...a few photos....the two darker chicks in the first photo are Cochin. There are two more in the bin. The second photo is Wyandotte. The third photo is the tray beginning hatch tonight. The last photo is two trays of eggs that will hatch at different times in May.

I may have missed this, but what do you do with so many chickens? Do you re-sell or do you have an egg business?

If I have to go the sock rout I will be wrapping as well. My legs are too big in general and shaped like Icecream cones.... Nothing stays up or it bunches and turns the rest of the leg blue.....

I am thinking of using something similar to a corset for the legs. In my riding days i used to wear Half chaps... Cover your leg from ankle to knee for riding with an english saddle. protected your leg and a tenth the cost of boots. They have stiffener ribs and zip up... But they go over the top of your jeans..... Add in an elastic panel and some laces.... then you can adjust the tension according to feel.

That’s why the custom made socks were so great. Because it involves her foot too she often had problems with the sock bunching at the ankle. They can mix compression and customize size so it stayed put. I’ll have to look into half chaps for her. Maybe that will be an option we can work with.

It's perfect...It's doing it's job.
I haven't had to touch the thermostat once after I originally set the temp.

I am still hand turning the eggs because why not.
I will open the turner box when I bake the quail.

What if you are technically challenged like me? I can't for the life of me figure out how to post pictures here... I've wanted to request help determining the gender of my barred rocks for a week now.
