Found my left-off page.Hot and bothered means something way different than you think it does.
You can confine their water. I use a coffee "can" with three drinking holes in the lid and keep it full to the top. I sink it down into the (deep) bedding as much as necessary to allow them to reach it. They don't mess the food up too badly but I feed it soaked/fermented. As for the poo... well, just move 'em on out asap. They make a bid sloppy stanky mess in about three minutes, but they're sooo CUTE!!!any ideas how to keep them from messing up the brooder?? i think i’m going to try to move the meaties outside......
just think if you had been here!!![]()
I made up a whole page just a few minutes ago!!A nice, heavy frying pan makes a good weapon, too.I carry this. Stab! Stab! Stab! Whop!View attachment 2237977
No way!!!!Go to Rooster's. He's having a party today. Sneak in...he will never notice.
i changed the light to a regular bulb vs heat bulb.....it’s currently the only light in the shed.....my only hesitation to putting them outside is not sure how older meaties will do with them.....main problem with dux is they get the water everywhere!!You can confine their water. And yes. the meaties have such a hot metabolism! I moved a batch outside last "spring" at a couple weeks old--into a tractor. Below freezing? They're like, "Aaaaargh! Couldja just turn off that dam heat lamp, lady?"
MUST REPLICATE IN BUTTERCREAM!
