Dang it, I did another entry for next week. Quail and veggie stir-fry. The rice isn't home grown, though. Home made teriyaki sauce with a spoonful of the spicy pickling sauce for some kick. Turned out very good.

Just that one at the front -- my dear little Spook.
He hatched in the house and imprinted on me.
I can pick him up, too, but it's rather hard to take a picture of him when I'm holding the lad.
So, I just take pictures like this one, with me simply petting him:

that's awesome. Mine are still young. I tried starting my free range day\co-op night program a week ago and lost 4\9 in like 3 days to predators. So they are on lockdown again for now. They are FAR from tame. I had to build a funnel fence to get them back in the coop!
