I got Pippin (his name before was Buddy so Pippin might be a nickname)! We are on our way home now!! He’s adorable and so sweet! I’m so happy!!

I’m so excited for you both!!! You should go ahead change his name. I’ve always completely changed our pets names after adoption & they always learn their new names fast. This sounds weird, but I think that somehow changing their name gives them an opportunity for a fresh start too.

I think I will go ahead and change his name. He’s really sad but adjusting alright. Funny enough we’re actually sitting together watching Lassie right now...
