Only two chicks I assisted died. And one was 3 weeks after the fact. I had to cull another I helped hatch. I have at least 10 more that lived because I helped.When I tried assisting it just died. So I wouldn't suggest it.
(It was a duck though.... I still wouldn't do it myself personally. I want only the strong to survive, strong parents for strong chicks though)Only two chicks I assisted died. Most of my assists have been caused by incubator troubles. The chicks were extra sticky and glued to the shell or malpositioned. They’ve bee. Strong for the most part.(It was a duck though.... I still wouldn't do it myself personally. I want only the strong to survive, strong parents for strong chicks though)
