It's weird that your phone is getting too hot. I put mine in the incubator and it was fine..

If your phone is in a case take it out of that. They hold a lot of heat.
I think they are resting. Once they have an open hole to air they are fine. Now is when you want to keep humidity up so they don't shrink wrap.
