I brought Gretel OUTSIDE for a dust bath (and to socialize with the flock) because the yard offers slightly more dirt than my living room carpet :p
Oh okay yeah I definitely misread that 😂🤣 I swore it said inside before! It never did, right? Maybe I’m losing it 😂🤣 I thought that was a little weird you’d bring them inside to bathe cause I’m like do you have a sandbox inside orrrrrr ?? 😂🤣🙈 but I’m like whatever floats your boat 😂 I am apparently extra tired or something tonight lol maybe I will go to sleep early aka now 😂

I took Gretel outside for a proper dust bath today. She had kept trying to use the carpet

I'm about the same. I carry my own personal summers with me wherever I go, so short sleeves are not optional ... ever! Short trips outside do NOT require a coat. I carry a light sweater with me only because it shuts coworkers up when they complain, "But where's your coat?"
Some are shocked to answer ... I don't own one! On the rare occasion that I actually NEED a heavy winter coat, I put on a thermal vest under one of my son's camp coats. Works for me!
Still - even though the winter cold is tolerable, I hate it. Unless we're gonna have snow - REAL snow - I'm a summer-lover ... gimme heat and humidity over wind and ice any day!
😂🤣😅 I'm not as tough as all that! I have plenty of coats and make sure there's always a good warm one in the vehicle (in case) along with a sleeping bag, non-perishable food...

Last evening though, I was real glad of my cowboy oilskin and beat up cowboy hat. I'd got the oilskin all dirty somehow and not hosed it off. It's clean now! All out of the blue we got a huge storm of (mostly small) wind driven hail and I had to go out and rescue some of my birds who got lost and confused, then feed everybody once it went to rain. They all dined indoors. Hope they felt special. I hardly ever use that coat but I got it half-off in the middle of summer and it was worth every still-expensive penny. 🤠
