This time of year I see firetrucks go by almost daily. If I don't see them, I at least here their sirens.
Our smallish town has a 4-way stop sign. We live near one of the "4 main roads" to that stop sign. Consiquently, at least once a week I hear and or see the paramedics roller heavy near us. A usual week is at least once for the Sheriff's dept as well. Every week, year round. At least once a month we have two streets where the ambulance & the fire truck show up for a medical emergency. On one of these streets there has been a going fact that this one house had had to have the fire truck and ambulance at least once per year over the last decade for a legit fore accident on their property. A few times it was a brush truck. The Fracking station North East of us last summer had the paramedics on speed dial while I was building the coop & run. At least one week they had the ambulance out 5 of the 7 days in either June or July. And that summer they happened to be called for over 50% of the days in the month of June or July as well. August happened at least once a week.

These folks are definitely keeping them in practice around here. I'm not sure the ratio of accidents to Darwin award winners either.

Of antlers, I hope! 😳
