she posted up until 3am....from what i have seen, it skirted by houston area without major issue, but gm house was hit hard in lake charles......how was it in your area?? you guys ok??

Oh ok thanks. Too many pages to go back seems like it went off topic anyway thats good. Water is starting to come up here. We get tidal flooding being close to the marsh on the north side of lake ponchatrain. Were suppose to get rain from the tail today but the constant south wind is way worse than the actual rain. So well see how it is this evening. I imagine flooded pretty good
Here's a list of high water around me so far with a long way to go

I'm exactly at transmitter and bayou paquet rd dead in the center lol.

We are okay, have not checked outside yet, but no water in the house from floor or roof LOL
Slept on and off. So far so good here. Prayers for Kiki's GM I think she is in Sulpher, LA right outside of Lake Charles. News from others?

Looks like you will be flooded in for a while as well, Didn't realize that's where you were, y'all get serge almost every time we get a storm, prayers your way. At least you still have a way to communicate.

Without getting too technical are you in an area where people park on the neutral ground?

We were lucky this time, it is still quite windy here but there does not seem to be any severe damage.

My Better-half is happy to report Galveston is dry and reltively calm as of 5am video she sent me.

Without getting too technical are you in an area where people park on the neutral ground?

Sometimes, I am in Lakeview in New Orleans, we usually don't flood too bad, unless the levees break.
