Sometimes, I am in Lakeview in New Orleans, we usually don't flood too bad, unless the levees break.

I had an aunt in lake vista at the end by the circle on lake vista. I'm out in that area quite often working with Orleans marina and south shore harbor flood authority. Ironic eh? Lol

Wrote the above post earlier and forgot to hit send.
Gusts are strong but have shifted from the east to the south which is safer for me. if any trees come down now they won’t hit the house or the chicken coops. Pretty sure a tornado zipped by about 4:30 this morning. it looks like the worst is past me now. All good.

I'm not sentimental, so I kinda think they're creepy, but to each their own... but y'all who sleep with stuffies are weirdos!

I just think they're messy. But I was never a fan of inanimate things you were supposed to pretend were alive, not even as a child. Not creepy, just boring. People like all sorts of things though, and who am I to judge?

Lost the tops to two trees so far. I think one went through the neighbors shed or hit their truck, can’t see from here. I’m about to go out and see if I can gather some baby squirrels for breakfast.
