I've come back twice to look at this. S/he makes me smile!

I love the story behind it but the bear itself creeps me out.

Our weatherman was saying that Lara is tied for the worst hurricane to hit Louisiana. Tied with the hurricane of 1856 that hit last island.
Last Island was a ritzy resort area in the gulf of Mexico. The hurricane that hit it in 1856 washed both the island and all the people on it away forever.
Interesting and horrifying story.
