OMG I SHOULD NOT HAVE LAUGHED SO HARDYeets start early in the Good Book. Adam and Eve are probably the first ... they get a solid "Yeet!" out of the Garden ...![]()
Thank you!!the one @room onthebroom mentioned is “Alligator”
Never!?I have never eaten anything coming out of a microwave so far![]()
Snobbery!I love my microwave! It's the best for frozen veggies, no-longer-hot coffee, an "emergency" baked potato (yes they're better from a real oven but sometimes you can't wait that long, or the house is too hot already). I love mine for melting chocolate (but look up how-to). Much simpler to get the temper right than using a double boiler.
It's never going to replace a conventional stove, but it's also not the devil incarnate. I know some peeps feel they're causing harm. That's fine, but I don't believe it. I remember when home models first came out. (Yes, I'm THAT old) Saving time & unnecessary dirty pots & pans (and energy) for many, many years.

Never ever, and do not plan on doing so.Never!?
That’s understandable but I don’t think it necessarily ruins it if done right. Like maybe my reheating meat thing isn’t good and ruins it but some stuff is good and also microwaves have come a long way now so they usually have different settings for different things and cooks it perfectly. Like mine has a bunch of different ones for actual cooking, for reheating, for defrosting, etc. and then different settings for various foods in each of those things.'Harm' might not be the right way to describe what happens with food when microwaving. And I know it is very popular in the U.S. as it is said to 'save time' and all.
But I sometimes wonder what people will do with all their 'saved time'?
No snobbery intended, but I would never ruin a good and healthy aliment by microwaving it. I rather take the time to cook and enjoy the process as well as the resulting meal.
Never ever, and do not plan on doing so.
