Then sliced it real thin and put it on some pita bread stuff with lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes and tzatziki sauce.

To me it tastes identical to deer.I have had lamb burgers. They were fine. I have had goat too but it was so long ago that I don't remember what it was like. I don't recall disliking it.
My Aus family eats an insane amount of lamb.Never had lamb. I've had plenty of goat though.

i vote pickles!!!I had a nap, I'm good until midnight. The problem is whether I feel like making another 45 posts or if I would rather go make Hot Sweet Pickles. The cucumbers are doing good right now.

Deer can have all sorts of different tastes depending on what its diet was and how it was killed and processed. A corn fattened whitetail is mighty fine eating if killed cleanly without a chase, cleaned and cooled quickly before proper aging. Gut shot after a long chase, poorly cleaned out, not cooled quickly and not aged properly isn't worth cooking.To me it tastes identical to deer.
