I cooked some lamb today.

Then sliced it real thin and put it on some pita bread stuff with lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes and tzatziki sauce.

I have had lamb burgers. They were fine. I have had goat too but it was so long ago that I don't remember what it was like. I don't recall disliking it.

To me it tastes identical to deer.

Never had lamb. I've had plenty of goat though.

My Aus family eats an insane amount of lamb.
We don't chop it up though. That's sacrilegious.

Mr muddy is upset that his sauce is not hot enough he added a Carolina reaper from the garden to his sauce mix!!!!(because his home sauce is only 1 week fermented) I think it’s plenty hot and it tastes good!!!! I added just a bit to mine (prolly gonna regret it)

I had a nap, I'm good until midnight. The problem is whether I feel like making another 45 posts or if I would rather go make Hot Sweet Pickles. The cucumbers are doing good right now.

To me it tastes identical to deer.

Deer can have all sorts of different tastes depending on what its diet was and how it was killed and processed. A corn fattened whitetail is mighty fine eating if killed cleanly without a chase, cleaned and cooled quickly before proper aging. Gut shot after a long chase, poorly cleaned out, not cooled quickly and not aged properly isn't worth cooking.

Did you know that Mexicans eat a lot of tortillas?

Corn tortillas are better for you but for some reason most people in my house prefer flour tortillas.

These are nowhere near what we consider real tortillas but I thought I would give them a try today.
