Technically I said Ohio was the Midwest one but y’all thought I meant all of them 😂🤣😂:tongue

But that's okay ... We still love you!!!! And you're still welcome to join me here anytime you'd like. After all, we do have a "date" for a concert in Philly one of these days ... XPN, We're comin'!

Uhhhhhh, your compass is a wee bit off @MROO mid-west has a literal line on the continent. Last time I looked the Mississippi River was said "line" hense the prefix of "mid". Your suggesting east coast to lower New England area silly goose.
No, silly, she is using The Dawg's definition of Midwest.

I randomly developed problems with lactose last year and it’s super annoying 😂🤣
When you feel it acting up ... check your stressors. And if you're feeling stressed, reach for a different comfort food. That may help. For a long time, my go-to was popcorn no lactose (except for a bit of butter,) a satisfying crunch and filling.

Cold, yep, but not like Massachusetts. And we do get ice, but the true storms aren't that often. And as much as I comp, ain about them, an ice storm leaves the world looking like a crystal fairyland - every little twig and blade of grass coated with glass. It's hard on the plants, and not fun to drive in, but it's about the prettiest thing you'll ever see!

A Maryland Back Yard after an ice storm (actually just a fancy name for freezing rain)

You'll have issues no matter where you live, you have to weigh what you can tolerate. I actually LOVE the DelMarVa (Delaware/Maryland/Virginia) area. I don't think I could ever live very far from my beloved Chesapeake Bay!
Ice storms. The B&W SLR pics I have from the Michigan ice storms of the 80's & 90's are just amazing. The TX ice storm I drove out to California for Xmas break in '98 was a complete paradigm shift for me...... That drive out US-287 to Amarillo, and then west into NM....... That was a serious event! My 1987 Subaru GL-10 Turbo wagon (I converted from auto to 5speed the previous spring break) with Aussie lift kit was just flat out awesome in that mess.
That's a story for another day.

Oral Immune Therapy. I explained either somewhere in this thread or the last.. But basically I started out eating a little bit of peanut of day and eventually did more and more so my body could slowly get used to it.
It's like getting allergy shots, right? Except that they don't make allergy shots for food. That's an observation/reaction diagnosis and therapy is usually simple avoidance. I'm glad you were able to build some tolerance. Peanuts are everywhere, and that definitely lessens your risk factor!

Have you tried a slice of bread? That sometimes settles the "roiling grumbles."
Actually no I have not. I will remember that....honestly not sure if we have bread right now. It's really weird though...like it feels like it's making not just my abdomen but parts of my thorax act fluttery and gurgle. I don't feel sick though! Almost like there is gas or juice everywhere in there.

That sounds like me if I eat too much of anything. I have GERDS.
