These suckers are huge with some of them 1 1/2" to 2" long. They are very mild mannered. I have never seen one become aggressive. I got one to crawl onto my hand but it flew away before I could get a picture.

Did you miss my story about coming into the house and noticing a movement on my mustache. When I looked closer, there was sand wasp on my mustache. I got it to crawl onto my hand. While I was trying to get the camera set up one handed, it disappeared in the house. That was weeks ago and I never have found it.
