Ice pick in a low spot in the tread area goes right in and out. The valve stem can be stomped or kicked off or if properly equipped, the valve core is easily removed.

Yes, but it goes down much faster if you remove the valve core. Besides, just as you reach the last thread, the valve core will be launched and lost forever.

Everyone in the South owns at least 2 ice picks. They are an important tool!
