Stepson shot one once that was smaller than my dog. Pretty sure he knocked the spots off that one too.

Must have!!! But at least I was able to drag him out gear and all without help!!!! And he made 18 tender meals!!!!

Best tasting deer I ever ate was a depredation hunt accident. Does and fawns only. Had a bead on a does head in back high grass. She lowered her head to take a bite. When a head reappeared in the exact same spot, bang. Aw sh.t as the doe bounded away. The fawn did not last a full week with my father and me eating it.
