Yes. For some reason, if you can’t find it at Walmart (ie gator, kangaroo) it always tastes like chicken.

Intentionally.
I was young and heard some older kids talking about eating them. I found a few around the trailer park and tried them.
They were good but not as good as the others had made them out to be.
I later found out I was a bit confussed about what they were talking about. It wasn't cats at all.
Oh well, you live and learn.
