@Kiki When I make a turkey I usually put it in the 'fridge a couple days before I'm going to cook it, but leave it in the sink overnight the day before.

Edit: I remember the first time I went to bake a turkey. I didn't take it out of the freezer until that morning. That didn't work.

At 12, I already knew how to prepare a turkey for roasting.

I wanted to do it for my mom. I knew a lot of how to cook by then, but when I was 12 she was diagnosed with leukemia and didn't have a lot of energy. She'd always done the full Thanksgiving feast before that. I'd watched, but not done it myself.

I'm trying to decide if I want to buy one or not.
It's not like I have to cook it on a certain day anyways.

They are just so darn cheap right now and I'm pretty sure if I don't get one today I'm going to get stuck with having to get a huge one.

I dunno, some of my hens seem to be very squatty when I so much as say hello or look at them.
Really freaky.

Hot sauce does not affect chickens the way it does people. The only way for hot sauce to work is to put it on the cooked bird.
