I was a bit late to party.....besides work today, Mr. Muddy and I spent a few minutes this evening discussing plans for our silver anniversary next week!!!

we’ve got jalapeños and serranos etc getting huge because we can’t pick them fast enough!! we’ve eaten a ton and frozen some.....i’m looking for a needle/thread to string up and dry some of the serranos and whatever that other chili pepper is that we planted!! we also threw some jalapeños in the jar with the cucumbers we pickled. and ours is a very small garden....Dad just told me that sis just finished canning like 80 quarts of green beans and BIL had to order a ton of new lids because they are in short supply. He also just finished like 3 different kinds of pickles???

Oh wow that’s amazing!! We just have tomatoes, peppers (jalapeño, bell and I think one other kind), and that zucchini plant. I did also plant a few eggplants but I planted them way later than the rest of the stuff so idk if we’ll get any. They’re still relatively small. But growing well. I had cucumbers planted too but the darn chipmunks ate them as soon as I planted them!! That zucchini plant was the only one to survive out of 2 summer squashes, 2 zucchinis, and 2 Russian pickling cucumbers I was so excited to try those pickling cucumbers. Oh well. Next year.

Lol I'm more worried that i! Supposed to be learning how to do animal blood transfusions...but I just keep refreshing this page! I am learning to be a Veterinary Assistant. Poor animals! Lol
