as far as my anniversary plans......i had already blocked off our anniversary on the schedule so we are considering a “road trip” in the Fifty!! leaving thursday to eat seafood and spend night in pigeon forge, then backroads through smokey mountains to cherokee north carolina then on to run the tail of the dragon before heading home on Sunday......

Congrats you two! That is amazing Sounds like a fab trip too.

My DH and I are celebrating our tenth this weekend. I am super excited to get out of town for a couple days.

me too!!! Except I don’t even eat good bread!! Maybe instead of cutting it out completely I’ll just reserve it for the occasional delicious slice. And then I’ll just stop doing the subs and PB&Js and burger rolls

Last week at the lake I told two boys to tone down the swearing and gestured to another family with young kids (mine don’t mind the language so much).

They agreed but then talked among themselves and said “that wasn’t bad as far as scoldings go. At least she’s not a soccer mom.”
