I have several lousy neighbors I have a “flock” of like 100 birds and 2 breeder rabbits in addition to 3 dogs a garden and 2 ponds (koi and goldfish) on 3/4 acre neighborhood lot!!!!

That is awesome! I've read a number of articles about Self Sustainable Farm living on small lots and if you plan well, you can pack a lot of stuff into 3/4 or 1 acre!

We have 30 acres but the area around our home/barn is where it all takes place, probably 4 acres or so. But thankfully, our nearest full time neighbor is about 1 mile away!

I’m closing in on self sustainable if I could just get rid of some kids and figure out milk!!!!! I could easily switch out the “pets” to meat fish and more meat birds!!!!

I’m going under the assumption that many of you haven’t seen my backyard yet!!!! Sorry for duplication for those that have!!! But I am a master of making the most of unused space!!!! I once fit a 220v air compressor in the back of an FJ!!!!!

Trying to build an indoor bird room and incubation/grow out in the shed but it’s not complete yet!!!! We do have the walk in cooler and extra side by side fridge and chest deep freezer in there already though!!!!! The walk-in holds 2 kegs and up to 5 deer!!!!!

I can’t imagine why we use 4+x the electricity of the average household here!!!!
