:lau this reminds there used to be (and maybe still is?) this like boat adventure thing here that we went on as kids that would take you around the harbor and they would pull up the lobster traps and let you look at and touch the lobsters and there would always be spider crabs in it too!! I loved them. They were so cool!!!

There was also this little “pirate ship” that would follow us around we had to “fight” them for the “treasure” which was just this bin of like this cheap dollar store “gold” coins and necklaces and stuff but at the time it was awesome!! You got to take some home.

And they would taunt us so what we would do was they would have everybody on the boat chant GIVE US THE TREASURE!!! Or WE WANT THE TREASURE!!! Or something to that effect, pretty sure it was the latter, then we’d all blast the poor guy with water cannons until he conceded 😂🤣😂

It was bad ass lol

And yes I know this post is probably wayyyy too long again but couldn’t shorten it without cutting out key components of the story 😂🤣🙈:confused:
All that, because you don't have a Disneyland close by! (But sounds fun):D

What you call hornworms, my chickens call lunch! just saying. :confused:
I gave it to the chickens!! They were all scared of it though and wouldn’t eat it 😂🤣:confused: couple pecks but refused to. Even my usual pig chickens LOL then finally Sweetpea, my Delaware, decided it was good and took it and ran off then the chase was on 😂🤣😂

I’m gonna have to try that!! Cause I’m a little nervous about putting chemicals on the food haha

Oh wow! I didn’t realize the damage would be so fast or extensive!!! We thought maybe an animal ate it at first haha

I think I just read an article on this last night! Was mine parasitized??? I wasn’t sure.
@KDOGG331

Mrs Reddogmaster2 is an organic gardener freak and hates chemicals. Aside from being mean, she is a forgetful old woman and when she's not looking I hit the plants with SEVIN and it handles the nasty little critters like hornworms and such.

Sometimes, wisely used, garden chemicals can be your best friend!

If you pick them off yoir tomatoes very early in the AM you usually find more of them. They can get your peppers too.
Thanks!! I’ll have to check! Hopefully there won’t be more but I’m sure there will be. Peppers look okay so far. I think the tomatoes are so big they are eating those.
Good, Sevin is really bad for honeybees. The workers pack it back to the hives and it kills off the whole hive.
Oh no!! That’s terrible!! 😭
The vegetables you buy the from the grocery store once had chemicals on them. You can't fart around and wait to get the bugs off of your plants or you won't have any plants left.
Yes but these aren’t grocery store veggies ;) whole point is they’re supposed to be better and healthier than the grocery store ones haha and yeah I know. I’m gonna look tonight when it cools off a bit.
