I read everything. Ours put up a big sign like a year or two ago that says on this date REAL ID (The new kind) will be required and they’ll stop accepting your regular license. It had like details about it and stuff.
Ours had one like in the DMV. But idk if it’s the same as renewals or not. But it said we would have to get a whole new license. I remember being pissed cause I had just gotten a new one (lost mine) and will have to get this new one before mine expires.
The last time I was forced to renew my DL was ten years ago.
They can advertise all they want, but I still may not get the message. I don't have TV and my radio reception stinks. If it's not direct mailed or sent digitally, I most likely won't see it.They’ve been advertising it for like 2 years before

well maybe not all the time but I feel like I’ve been so much in the last 4 years. I only got my license in 2016 so I had to go a few times for that and then I’ve lost it twice and also had to go I think to register the car once or twice. Idk. I’ve just been a lot I guess 
I too have exactly one hat that I will wear.
