Not when you're just a kid the first time you see it ... and then the starlings all fly over at once. I was terrified for weeks ... and my father thought it was hysterical! Turkey! That ones funny lol

Backpacking is a good way to see new country, stay in shape and lose weight. It is great conditioning for the muscles and legs.I don’t think I could ever go backpacking for that reason![]()
Yeah and I am an old man.We can't all be a strong, magical, perfect creature like you Bob.
If I tried to throw one over my shoulder you'd have to drag me out as well. My back would throw in the towel for sure.![]()
Not a failure! He's a baby! To make the future easier, try hanging a bell off the door handle where he goes in and out. Ring it every time you let him out, encouraging him to mouth it when you do. He'll get the idea and learn that, when he rings the bell, someone lets him out.I finally caved and bought the damn baby gates @BantyChooks
Spent all day yesterday deep cleaning the carpets. It's too much for him, I don't know what we expected. He lives on the kitchen tiles now.
So yea, we are essentially doing a hard reset on potty training. My kitchen entrances are jam packed with boxes until the gates arrive.. an obnoxious symbol of my failure.
Me neither!! I buy my presents at the last minuteI am so not going to be ready for that!
I've already figured out that everyone is getting a year's worth of Holiday Face Masks! We'll start with New years and run through the calendar. They'll never forgive me!I am so not going to be ready for that!
Good idea although you gotta be careful with that cause I’ve known dogs who would take as rod that and ring it or bark, etc. just to go play even if they didn’t have to pottyNot a failure! Sigh. I know.![]()
you didn’t fail! Some puppies are just harder than others. They’re not all super easy! Not your fault. Heck, I’ve even known adolescent and adult dogs that still have accidents!!
My back and sciatic nerves have gotten so bad that I probably wouldn't be able to hunt otherwise.![]()
I had one that abused it a bit, too, but I'd rather he go out a few extra times than leave a surprise in the front hallway! I don't think Crazy Dog will ever learn the bell trick, though. She's just too ADHD. Luckily, she's in and out a LOT and is very good in the house. Her "accidents" aren't of the potty type. They're more boredom- or sulk-induced ... "Hey, naptime's over but the door's still closed. Let's destroy this pile of papers on the far back corner of the desk ... then we can drag the cat box around the living room for a bit ... C'mon ... it'll be FUN!"Good idea although you gotta be careful with that cause I’ve known dogs who would take as rod that and ring it or bark, etc. just to go play even if they didn’t have to potty![]()
