Look in the rearview mirror, you will, and see a china doll on a stand, a red-food-coloring bloodstained bouquet in her hand....
A giggle sounds from the backseat, probably emitting from the doll....
And then her CGM chirps to alert the giggler of a low blood sugar, and I am discovered.

My sister was into porcelain and American Girl dolls. I'm getting the willies just thinking about their creepy little eyes staring at you from the dresser.
I always was—and still am—a stuffed animal kinda gal.

Agreed!!! Porcelain ones especially!! No thanks!! So creepy!!! I actually once turned a plate on the wall around cause the whale eyes were staring at me

I love stuffed animals though!!! So much friendlier and less scarier. I also loved those plastic horses and Lincoln logs lol was not a Barbie and doll type gal

I'm too lazy to make another dish to wash. I just give them away and let it be someone else's problem. Not really, if I am concerned at all, I just toss them.

They couldn't fit 79 candles on my cake - it fell apart.

That's where those fancy number candles made for single-digit kids' birthdays come in handy ... Just two candles to blow out - one for each digit. Not only is there no embarrassing hyperventilation when you blow out the candles, but you can cut the smarta$$ BIL off at the pass, before he sets up behind you with the fire extinguisher!
We learned that lesson the hard way ... when Mom's cake set the smoke alarm off and the neighbors called the fire department!

I don't even like eggs. Yea yea, sue me.
I only use them in baking and sometimes they go a long time without being touched. I'm not risking all my cake ingredients by dropping an egg bomb in the middle of them.
