Kiki's White Trash and or Nerdy Birthday Bash Funeral

I would like to carry something around with me to use as a weapon, honestly, but I'm worried about carrying something like a gun or knife -- I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea, or anything like that, and something so lethal... it makes me nervous. I don't want to kill anyone, just incapacitate them, but a gun or a knife can do so much damage so easily.
I think that I'll try putting several rolls of quarters in my purse. Bludgeoning can be just as incapacitating as stabbing or shooting, though close quarters are required.
Maybe I can take some self-defense classes sometime, too.
And let's not forget the nasty clip on my fanny pack.
How much does pepper spray cost?
How about a kubotan? Perfectly legal, attaches to your keychain. I carry one. I also know how to use it...
Go visit @Nabiki , she can teach you about self defense.
Only the basics. I never got past shodan (1st degree black belt).
I saw a baby in a car seat in an empty parked car and almost called 911 but looked closer and it was a doll. really scared me
Do you live in an area with HOV or commuter lanes? It's probably there to avoid a ticket while driving illegally in them.

My babies aren't dead-eyed! They look more real that a lot of teenagers, these days! And the dolls that breathe and coo and have a heartbeat aren't the creepy part ... it's the people who really think they NEED one that scare me!
I can't judge them because I've never been in that position, but I sincerely hope they find whatever they're looking for.
Just don't ask me to spend the night. 😱

Those people are CRAZY. My mom used to have one as a neighbor. She used to talk about it like it was real. Even bought a car seat for it.

This woman is single, no kids, in her 50's.
Years ago, I had a neighbor who lost a beautiful, premature baby girl at exactly 100 days. As a memorial, she made a beautiful scrapbook and a 100-block quilt. The quilt had some of the baby's teeny-tiny clothes appliqued onto it - frills and tiny socks and all - and was gorgeous! Then Mom had a reborn doll made in the baby's likeness. In concept, it was neat, but was much harder for her than she thought. I can't imagine keeping a lifeless reminder like that around forever. How would you ever let go and move on?
She couldn't. The last I heard, she had passed the doll on to a beloved cousin who sold it to someone who didn't know its' history, someone who appreciated it for the beautiful piece of art it was and not the heartbreak it represented. The doll got a wonderful new home and the money went into the older son's college fund. I thought that was a beautiful and appropriate tribute ... and a wonderful way to turn a sad memory into a hope for the future!

Don't encourage her.
Ya mean ... like this?

And it's even the high-end model ... with an awning!
I've got the little kennel ...
I may even have a spare can of spray paint ...
All I need is an umbrella stroller with a surrey top!

C'Mon 'Mare ... let's DO IT!

Okay peeplz ... All this doll and monkey talk has a whole new set of pop-ups inundating my BYC screen. Every other ad is for a monkey doll! I think I need to go search some random other stuff, just to get rid of the monkeys ...
Shades of Jumanji, all over again ... The monkeys are loose!
