They're such beautiful birds. You should have heard today's buyer gushing over them. She's been admiring them for months, but finally managed to make the trip today. Two hour plus drive.

I know it is!!! I normally don’t do that, I swear. But I’ve been really weird/out of it the past couple days and haven’t felt like eating or cooking much hahah

And then since I was basically running on fumes, I wanted a big meal

Yes, no, and that is a lovely offer, I would take you up on it in a heartbeat if I thought I had a good place for them. Right now chickens are it for me as far as birds - I am finally in a job that only requires 40 hours a week, which has helped immensely, but until I have time and proper resources it doesn't make sense to add more. I will admire them from afar

That is why two of my males are crowing at all hours of the day and night. They’re unhappy being in isolation but they can’t be with the rest of the flock for three seconds without trying to murder another male.

Cut their heads off and eat them.
