I am done with today. The wind blew my new pen apart and the birds out of it (it's incredibly windy today) and blew the tarps off of my mixed pen. It blew enough dirt away from some of the edges that all of the birds got out of that pen too.

I got all of the birds from the new pen back (they were my 4 week olds that I know are roos), and most of the birds from my mixed pen back, but my german pastel roo is gone and I found a hen nearly decapitated and completely skinned. What does that in broad daylight in an urban backyard?

I'm going to go take a nap so I can say goodbye to my favourite aunt tonight.

Actually I like eating Doritos. Especially cool ranch.
But...there is something about the smell of Doritos if your not eating them yourself that just makes me gag. I can't stand Dorito breath! It's Horrible.
If I had a dog that smelled like Doritos I'd have to take it out and shoot it.


I don't currently live in tow school house. It's just storage right now.
We will eventually move out there on the property...but we're probably going to build a small house and keep the school as a shop.
My husband is a welder/contractor...builds metal buildings for a living.
But he can build almost anything.
Eventually he will be able to work from home and work from his own shop with all that space.
