Our banana bread recipe is actually referred to as Banana Fruit Bread. In addition to having bananas, it also has chopped nuts, chocolate chips and individually hand placed maraschino cherries that causes each slice to have one cherry in it.

This bread was sadly devoid of add ins. I was low on chocolate chips (and needed all I had for the blondies) and nephew H is allergic to nuts. I did have maraschino cherries on hand now that I think of it. But those were reserved for the sundaes.

The loaf did have a nice shiny crunchy crust of turbinado sugar on top!

You are very deluded. Santa is not a woman that puts on a fake beard and belly padding and treats the elves as slaves.

This is the consistent debate. @BantyChooks says she is the real Santa and was the Original but then @R2elk once claimed that Banty was actually the fake Santa because she didn’t have a real beard. She denied such claims of course. It has since been an ongoing debate as to who is, in fact, the real Santa. We still aren’t sure. The jury is still out on this one. Although Banty does have elves, reindeer, and lives in the North Pole and Elk appears to just have turkeys and a beard sooooo.... he makes killer desserts though.

How do we know Banty doesn’t have a beard?

No, I don’t think so but I have seen her on here and I was happy to see another South Dakotan. I love the land, but the Capitol city is the black-hole of North America. It sucks the life out of you. Maybe it has to do with being near the geographical center of the continent. Or perhaps from all the bloody battles that happened there? The land is rich.
