I don’t think they do but they used to be less likely to be infected. Probably not now.I use a Mac. Maybe they have this stuff installed and updated with their regular updates.

I just used that as an example. Yahoo, Google, etc. So many sites use ads and they don't care who does those ads, just that they pay for them.No... I've never used msn.com.
