Kill Snakes in the Chicken Pen ?

Thanks for the advice. I just now went over the colors on the coral snake to watch out for. I did see one once and went inside to get my husband to kill it and by the time we got back outside, it was gone ! I wasn't sure it was red on yellow or what. I just saw some red, yellow and black on it and ran into the house !
