the rooster is just doing what he's meant to do, he's just taking it into overdrive.
if he didn't try and protect his hens, what good would he be then,
we've got a ton of roosters(only like 7 we are planning on keeping), there has been no threat to our flock yet, and the only rooster thats every gone after US is our sebright, will we be killing him, no,why? because I believe that if push came to shove if something ever got into the pen, he'd be the one to stare it down.
no meaning to start trouble here,
but really this threads to me anyways get old, i see atleast 2 every week on here, people bring these roosters into their homes, KNOWING what ANY rooster is capable of.
the cat, to a ROOSTER is a threat, the cat WOULD and WILL attack chicks, and small hens, and in the eyes of the rooster, YOU are a threat too.
