Killer rooster

I have a pretty large Rhode Island Red rooster. And he has already killed two of my hens. What would make him do this?I have 8 hens and one rooster they are all together in a coup and have a large fenced-in area I also let them out 5 days a week to free range.

I had to laugh. That is exactly what my ex-mother in law would have said. LOL

If your rooster is killing your hens, it's time to get rid of him. If you need fertile eggs, there are nice roosters out there that know how to treat their ladies.

There is never a good reason to keep a bad roo. time for him to go swimming with noodles in the soup pot.

Wrong his neck. Go to the stockyard or craigslist and get a good roo for 10$ or less
