Killing a Drake

Whats the easiest way to kill a drake? We will be eating our extra drakes and need a good easy method of killing them. Do you do it the same way as a chicken? I've slaughtered one before but will never do it that way again. A hatchet to the neck while holding him down. Never again. To stressful for them and me. Thanks for all suggestions.

Well...
You can do the chop of the head. IMO, easiest way. But you want small traffic cones with the tip cut off. Their neck is out and restrained. Search 'kill cones chickens'
You can seperate the neck from the head. I forget the specific way, but you essentially decapitate it without any blood.
Anything that works on chickens works on ducks
