Soo this one is not a nice subject but where do you learn to kill and process your birds correctly.
I only have a small coop and want to hatch some eggs but i need to know how to kill of the cocks
i have seen a bit on youtube and some info pages but when it comes to it i need to seperate myself from them being animals
If there someone i could ask or learn from to do it?? before i think about it
and the safest most humane way
I have seen the pull the necks one or the slash the throat one. I think i am capable of either with some backup lololol
Let me know how you did your first bird was it just trial and error
I am in the west midlands uk if anyone kills birds regular where i could go see and do it and process correctly for my dinner table!!
i was interested in just eggs but the meat idea is really a must when they reach a age as my sister just paid £29 to put her poorly chicken to sleep lol
