Kind of snake?

Hi- I found this guy in my coop and it looks like he made have taken out a couple of my baby ducks. Does anyone know what kind of snake he is (was)?

Look up who lives in your area, and it should be easy to figure it out. Without your location, and seeing the head, it's not so easy to ID.

Putting general location in your profile is a good first step to getting accurate help for almost all issues. I've never seen that type of snake.

My best guess going by what I can see is that it was a bull snake.

Non venomous but yeah, would dine on duckling or chick if given a chance. Glad he went bye bye. Sorry about the loss of the babies.
