Kinda Creeped out....

I know, right? I never watch a scary movie alone, unless it's one that I've seen a dozen times. After a while, they just aren't as scary anymore.

that is true lol. I used to be scared of gremlins but I find them kind of cute now lol.

The first ever scary movie I watched was Children of the Corn...I was nine, and my sister and I were supposed to be in the kitchen. Everyone else was in the living room (at my uncle's house) watching the movie. That movie is so stupid to me now that I never watch it. I don't see anything scary about it now. But then, I must have had nightmares for a month! I kept seeing a kid sitting in my bureau drawer whenever I was trying to go to sleep!

Right, but you can't remember how old you were...this happens to me every night...I am 28!

I never saw that movie either! I am a big sissy when it comes to scary movies. My DH told me about 15 minutes ago that the few scary ones I have seen have permanently ruined me for life!

He may be right!

I love scary movies, but they can really creep me out. I have an extremely vivid, overactive imagination, which really doesn't help. Zombie movies are the worst for me, but I like them. Darkness Falls was movie that really creeped me out. There are times at night I can't open my eyes, and I get panicky. Sometimes I have to run and jump into bed, I can not help myself. And my dreams are sometimes just a little bit too realistic, as in I will sometimes feel pain when I wake up if I got hurt.

I had to quit watching scary movies. I think the last one I saw was The Grudge several years ago and I decided that it just wasn't worth it anymore.

My grandma used to like to watch ghost shows about haunted places, I guess kinda like Ghost Hunters, but ones that were on waaaay before that..... creeped me out pretty bad when I was a kid. Now I just consciously avoid that kind of stuff, but it's hard when you're a kid and the adult in charge is watching it in front of you! Grandparents don't seem to notice this fact, because they send the kid home and don't have to deal with the nighttime upsets that come from it.

Nowadays, I put a LOT of faith in my Chow dog, she's scary smart, so if she's not barking I usually dismiss the little bumps in the night. It works for me.
