I have had my Kindle for a year now and have really enjoyed it. I decided about two years ago to just stop buying paperback books and becoming a warehouse to totes of books. Many I do read over again but I am not a TV watcher and I read a lot. Books can stack up. I have downloaded so many free books I feel that off set the purchase price and the other day I wanted to read a book I saw mentioned here on the site.. Storey's Guide to Raising Chickens... it was availble for my Kindle.. SCORE! Downloaded and was reading in just a few min. I then did a search and there are some very good books available for chicken keeping, gardening and other hobbies such as knitting. I just found about 4 free books for gardening and cooking.
