KINDLE readers - where do you find free books?

Google the following line

"parent directory" "Index of" and the book name or author name. You will find links to ftp sites with e-books on them.

This is copyright infringement. I do it if I have a hard copy version of a book and want it on my Kindle as well.

I did not read everything but if you have facebook, there are two pages that are worth liking: Ereadernews (red box with a black e) and Pixels of Ink. I have been reading for MONTHS now for free. No, not everything is my style, however, the books they post are of EVERY genre out there. It is much easier to go to FB and find their posts than try to wade through the crap they have on Amazon.

To add to that. You can loan some books to others through Amazon.

Amazon Prime membership ($80.00/year) allows you to borrow 1 qualifying book a month. I borrowed the hunger games book 1 which saved me 5 or 6 dollars. That makes up for Prime membership. Although Prime also gives free 2 day shipping of $3.99 overnight.

i go to amazon and barnes and noble and indigo and many of the authors will have links on their sites where you can get free short stories they have written..

smashwords is another site..

I love my kindle... best thing I ever drove 5 hours for! (I am in Ontario and I had to drive to Michigan for it last year)

nzbmatrix.com Besides ebooks, they have movies, tv shows documentaries, music, games... I don't know about the games, only the first four that I listed. Also gutenberg.org
