Hello Friends. Don't know how to post a new thread so kindly pardon me for my mistakes.
Got these chicks a month ago from the local hatchery. They have Vanaraja, Kalinga Brown, KCL and Rhode Island Reds there.
But the person's there don't exactly know what they provide you.
Am posting a pic of one of my chicks kindly tell me whether it's a rir and also it's gender.

I'm not familiar with many of your breeds, you being in India and me in the US, however, I can say that this chick looks like a typical RIR.

It also, at that age and size with that much comb, is a roo.

That much comb at this age would very likely indicate a cockerel. Certainly not a Rhode Island Red, looks nothing like one. Much be one of the other breeds.

It's a cockerel and probably some type of hybrid with RIR blood. Definitely not pure RIR.
