King quail newbie

I would recommend gamebird pellets/crumble. I use Laucke Mills Gamebird Finisher, but that's an Australian brand. I just put their food in small ceramic bowls from a pet shop.

I am in Australia so I will get the game bird finisher and I have their food in Lexi & Me Coop Cup with Clamp 600ml from Peter I’m but i feel like it’s too big

They will violently kill each other in any more than pairs and sometimes in pairs.

A complete and balanced feed of 24% protein is all you need to feed them. Standard 1 quart chick waterers and feeders are adequate for a pair.
The hens usually don't live long due to their egg laying ability....they will lay an egg a day, their entire productive life...even if kept in a dark room. Mine lay even when molting!

As I wrote before, I have no practical experience with King Quails, but the articles I read (as I was also interrested in breeding them) are describing females +/-3 years and males +/-5 years.
