Quote: Shira walked over and opened it after getting dressed. "Yes? " she looked at the voice.
It was Tanathia. She was dressed up in wealthy clothing and carried a book in her left arm. "Ready for our work today, Shira?" she asked.
Shira looked at her, "Can you re-educate on what exactly? "
"We need to fill out more scrolls on whatever they have for us today."
"Right. " Shira sighed. "Sure, lets go right now. "
Tanathia nodded and led the way down the hall.
Shira followed along.
The two end up in another room, much smaller than the quarters. Tanathia sat down behind a table which was up against the wall. A stack of parchments lied there, waiting to be filled. She picked up one and started to write on it. A empty seat was beside her.
Shira decided to take the empty seat, and looked around.,"can you hand me one? Please? "
Without glancing at her, Tanathia carefully grabbed a parchment and handed it to Shira.
"Thank you. " Shira smiled and read over it.
"You're welcome," she replied back and shoved in her face another parchment. "This one is about a new tax policy." After a while reading through it, she added, "This is ridiculous." However that time she sounded rude.
"Why do you says it's ridiculous? " Shira asked, calmly, not drawing her eyes anywhere else.
"Take a look for yourself, Shira," Tanathia shouted, angrily, tossing the parchment. It slowly fell to the floor like a falling feather.
Shira hovered it back to her, using her thumb. She grabbed it and read over it.
(Nighy.
(Night.)
The parchment mostly talked about raising the taxes three times the price it is now.
"What?!" Shira freaked as she crumbled the paper in her grasp. "Alright, that's is it we need to confront this outrageous parchment."
