The town went on its normal duties, but when an elf appeared at the main gates most of everyone stopped and stared. Some even equipped their weapon.

Rose was startled from the reactions of others. She proceed to journey up to it, completely ignoring them.

Suddenly, an arrow was shot and flew towards her.

Rose raised a hand and the arrow bursted into flames.

"Magic, huh?" said a guy nearby. "Let's see how tough you are, elf." His voice sounded cocky. He pulled out a longsword from his sheath and walked slowly to Rose.
A crowd gathered around, cheering.

Rose glared him down threatningly. She didn't respond, but unsheathed her enchanted bow and arrow. She nocked one.[/quote]

The guy stepped back and said, "No, no, no bows. Just sword fighting."[/quote]

"Now that I got your attention, I'm no threat, unless you provoke me to become one. " Rose snarled, not loosening her guard.[/quote]

The man glared and put away his sword, knowing full well if he killed her, he would be arrested and sentenced to death. "I'm sorry," he calmly said. "I got carried away."
Knowing there's not going to be a fight, the crowd quickly dispersed.[/quote]

Rose put away her weapon too. "You want to fight? Right? " she growled. She leaped and tackled him to the ground.

Eliza observed him, her blue eyes dancing in the light, golden hair flowing down her back like a stream of sunlight.

Finally he was exhausted and couldn't dance no more. He steadily made his way to one of the chairs and sat down. "That was fun," he expressed.

Eliza gazed at him, nodding her head in agreement. This day, by far, had been one of the best ones.

Beat from all the exercise Tariel still breathed heavily. "So what now?"

"I'm kinda thirsty." Eliza stood, walking away. She returned a minute later with two glasses of clear, cool water, offering one to Tariel.

Graciously, he gently took it from her hand and quickly started drinking it. Some dripped on his shirt.
