Four guards entered the jail door and walked downstairs to where Tithae and Winter were being held. Two approached each cell and showed very evil grins on their faces.
One sneered, "Ready, maggots?" The tone of his voice was stern and a little hoarse.
Tithae fell to his knees and begged for mercy by constantly bowing.

Winter let a sob escape as she backed away shaking her head. "P-please," she sobed before running into the bed.

Losing their patience, both guards stormed in each cell and violently tackled Tithae and Winter to the ground and put their hands and ankles in shackles. Afterwards, they gripped their underarms and pulled them to their feet. Each set of two guards escorted Winter and Tithae outside, with Tithae leading.

"Please!" Winter sobbed. If anything she wanted to be hung first so she wouldnt have to watch Tithae die in front of her. He was one of the only people who had shown her kindness even when he knew she was a hybrid.

The guards ignored her's and Tithae's pleas as they literally were dragged to the middle of town. Outside was sunny and clear.
