Winter smiled, she could feel tears welling up in her eyes as she looked at the horse. She blinked her tears away before kissing the horses cheek.

Taking away his attention from the horse, he focused back on Winter. "What's wrong?" he asked, and leaned over the horse's neck and placed his right hand gently on Winter's head.

"You sure?" he asked, still not convinced there was nothing wrong. Solviss has been with Winter for quite some time to learn her emotions and body languages.

Lathron stopped looking and then stared at Ana. "Didn't she say she was going to check her other trap?"

"Thanks" Venus said and wrapped the cloth tightly around his feet. "Your going to need to change them about once or twice a day"

"Anyway, it was years ago" Coralie forced a smile. "I'm totally over it now" she said, mostly to convince herself.

William rose to his feet, feeling comfortable about the new bandage. He walked a few steps on it to test its strength. After he returned to his old seat he was convinced Venus wrapped it well.
