hehehehee my daughter kisses her favorite Black Australorp Peachy(hen) and she loves it when Luella does it. So far she hasnt gotten sick from kissing her. She can even kiss Cotton( dark cornish bantam rooster) and he loves Luella my daughtere

Oh man, I have been kissing my Aussies on their tiny heads for over 5 weeks and it never even occurred to me to wonder if it was safe...

Yes I do kiss my chickens on top of head and talk to them while holding them. My hubby has gotten used to it by now!
A friend was here and teased me about the kissing... Said they peck in the dirt and eat worms and you let them close to your face!
I asked if he held his dog and let him lick his face? He said yes... I could not resist saying.. But the dog licks his butt and then licks your face!!
