Who else loves using their Kitchen Aide attachments? Have been trying to introduce more chicken into our diet instead of red meat. So last night got out the mixer put the meat grinder attachment and within 5 minutes had 6 boneless/skinless chicken thighs all grounded up for "Chicken chili". I just love that machine it makes things so much easier. Have also been adventuring into the world of bread making and letting the dough hook do the work for me.

Just gotta have the right tools which makes cooking so much more fun.

My husband just recently bought me a Kitchen Aide and I'm loving it for making cakes. I used to only have a hand held mixer but when I moved two years ago it got lost in the move so I've been mixing by hand - so - by comparison to hand mixing, the Kitchen Aide is a dream. I haven't found any place that sells the attachments but am thinking of adding the meat grinder and the grain grinder to a "wish list". I do have some bread recipes I've been meaning to try (it came with the dough hook).

I have the ice cream attachment. I want to get the pasta maker attachment. The meat grinder would be nice too. I just love my Kitchenaide. I use it for everything. It is great for bread. I just started culinary school, so it's going to be getting a lot more use.

I have the grain grinder and just love it. I run the grain through about 3 times making the grind finer and finer until I get the one I want.

Would really love to get the pour funnel that sits on the side of the bowl. A meat grinder and the pasta maker too.

I have the vegetable strainer attachments for sale....hubby bought an extra one when I lost this one in the closet. Brand NEW! You would need to buy the "trough part" for it to work because that part can be used for both meat grind and veggie strainer.

I love both parts and I can not do anything without them! The veggie strainer does a GREAT job straining out tomato seeds (feed them to chooks) and I canned about 15 qts of tomato juice and sauces for our short summer before the "rot" got into the tomato garden. This year I would need to find a very resistant mold rot Roma tomato seeds.

Hi,

I absolutely love my KitchenAid stand mixer with the attachments! I feel I can make much safer, healthier ground beef with the meat grinder and in the summer I grow TONS of Brandy Boy tomatoes, which are huge. The fruit and vegetable strainer comes in very handy for making sauce.

Even without the attachments, the mixer is a blessing. I can knead dough, make unbeatable (no pun intended) meringues and whipped cream, and process the stiffest cookie doughs. I really don't know how I lived without it but I have it already for over 20 years and it's going strong!

I love my Kitchenaid also. I have the meat grinder and the fruit and veg. strainer. MY DH bought it for me about 6 yrs. ago for Christmas. The first time I used it was to make bread. I had the flour in the bowl and turned it on too fast and flour blew out everywhere, on me, the countertop, walls and ceiling. My DH and DD just laughed at me. My DD just had to show me how to use it.

Haven't done it that bad but have had my share of flour on me and the counter. I just made Ooey-Gooey Cinnamon Buns dough and can't wait to try them.

We also have the ice cream attachment and it so good in the summer even though we are not big ice cream eaters.
